How the Mr Pacman games work
All three games share the same rules so skills carry over. You steer Munch through a maze of blue walls, eating small yellow pellets worth 10 points each. Four drones leave the central pen one by one: the magenta diamond chases you directly, the orange hexagon aims ahead of you, the mint triangle flanks using the chaser's position, and the violet square wanders until you get close. Eat one of the four glowing power orbs and the drones turn blue for a few seconds; catching them in that window pays 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 points in a chain. A mint bonus chip appears mid-level for extra points. Clear every pellet to move on.

Choosing a mode
- Maze Muncher is the classic experience: three lives, levels that get faster, and shorter orb windows as you progress. Best for learning the drones. play maze muncher free.
- Time Attack removes lives entirely. You have 60 seconds; every 25 pellets adds 3 seconds, clearing a maze adds 15, and a collision costs 5. Pure efficiency. play time attack maze.
- Endless Maze gives you one life and a brand-new random maze on every board. It is the mode for long sessions and leaderboard bragging. play endless maze mode.
Tips that work in every mode
- Clear the dead corners first while the drones are still leaving the pen.
- Save power orbs until at least two drones are near you, then collect the chain for the big multiplier.
- Drones cannot reverse direction mid-corridor unless you eat an orb, so a drone behind you is less dangerous than one ahead.
- Scatter phases happen roughly every 22 seconds; the drones head to their corners for five seconds, which is the moment to cross the centre of the maze.
