Time Attack: the 60 second maze game

Arrow keys / WASD on desktop, swipe or arrows on touch. Eat every pellet, use orbs to turn on the drones.

Rules of Time Attack

The timer starts at 60 seconds. Pellets are worth 10 points and every 25th pellet extends the clock by 3 seconds. Clearing a board adds 15 seconds and a 500-point bonus, then a new seeded maze loads. Touching a drone does not cost a life; it resets your position and deducts 5 seconds. Power orbs still work, and eating drones is the fastest way to build score because the chain values dwarf pellet points.

Strategy for the clock

  1. Route the outer ring first; it holds the most pellets per second of travel.
  2. Take an orb only when two or more drones are within three tiles, then eat the chain.
  3. Never chase the last five pellets across the maze while a drone is adjacent: a 5-second penalty is worth more than the pellets.

The scoring logic is deliberately different from the original arcade, where points, not time, decide everything; compare it with pacman scoring system. If you prefer lives and levels, go back to maze muncher classic mode or explore the rest of the mr pacman arcade hub.
